I'm sure most of you who own a NX (or NR for that matter) noticed that there is a piece of plastic around the outside edge of the screen (it 'loops' around the capture button). Its usually white and un-noticable but i have seen navy blue versions (like on the fatness of the NZ thread). Does anyone know about these two colour schemes, whether both are available and what colour it is on the gun metal ones.

The NX70V has a white colored plastic strip, the NX60 has a black colored one. Not sure about the NZ. I've owned both NX models, and I like having a white strip, but it really doesn't matter. It's just cosmetics.

It depends on the model, my NR70 without the camera was dark blue while on my NX with the camera, it's white.

Another example, on Ford Trucks, the 2 wheel drive versions have chrome mirrors and front grill. The 4 wheel drive versions have painted mirrors and grill. So you can tell from far away whether it is a 4x4 or not. At least this held true in 1998.
