I installed Sony's version of palm desktop onto my laptop, and I am unable to hotsync. It says that the driver is not found, as though it was never installed(the hotsync drivers).
I tried this with the latest palm desktop too, and it didnt work.
Running on an inspiron 8500 if that helps.

uninstall software, then reinstall.... the usb driver did not install... be sure your cradle is plugged in and the unit is in the cradle
(you ARE talking about a NZ right?)

Point it to the C:\Program Files\Sony Handheld\USB_Driver.
