Can I integrate mail into palm desktop?

I have been using outlook for awhile now, but I got tired of the occasional problems with hotsync, etc. I started using palm desktop, but there is no integrated todo/appointment view. I also have to use outlook express when I retrieve mail.
Is there a better program?
I use datebook5 as my pim so I don't think agendus desktop(the other frequently mentioned desktop organizer) would work for me.

Any suggestions?

You can use Agendus for Windows instead of the Palm Desktop. The Pro version has an email viewer inside the program. The standard version will open you email program, like express. I don't believe you have to use the Palm version of Agendus, so you could continue using Datebook5. You can set the data source to be a mix from either/both the palm desktop or Outlook.
