win XP Upgrade and Hotsync

I just upgraded my Win XP Home to Professional without reading the clie manual and my TG50 won't hotsync, i have now read the manual and seen that hotsync will not work with upgrade versions of windows, is there a way around this or should i reinstall my XP home.:rolleyes:

I have no difficulty with Hot-Sync and my (German) XP-Pro
