I have a goal. How can I achieve it?

Is there a way to download a streaming Real Player video, convert it to MPEG, then send it to my NX via Image Converter? First one to provide a working solution gets the title of 'Supreme Master King Big Man of all things Portable and Entertaining' :)

No. One of the design goals of streaming video is to _prevent_ you from keeping a local copy.

It can be done. Just search the web for software that rips streaming video.

It will, of course, be of even lower quality than the Real video. Which is usually bad to start with.
So is it really worth it?

About 4 years ago I used to have a .ram to .avi converter called Tinra that did a fairly bad job of it.

Though you would expect guys to be the ones who buy tech gadgets such as the clie. There is some odd, obscure thing called PIM which may be useful to everyone but i havent heard of this rare feature for myself.

However, the only person who was exited about me getting a Clie was my friends sister and she wanted one so its probably not safe to assume that all Clie users are males :P

Also, why dont you search for the video elsewhere, if its movie trailers or the like they should be littered over the internet

Just for the record, I used tinra less than a year ago and I thought it did a fine job...I ran it for 10 hours once converting video and it didn't skip a beat, the only weird thing is that it doesn't put a file extension on the files....

Thanks, I'll try that app as well (also trying EO Video; seems to work well -- SLOW, however).
