Hi.
I've searched and read back through 100's of threads, and tinkered with avantgo, isilo, repligo ect.
I still cant find a decent web clipper! Avantgo is great, but only for things written for it and its soooooo slow.
repligo is wonderfull, but you have to do each web page personaly for every update, which takes to long and you might as well just read them when you convert them.
IS there a program i'm missing?
All I want to do is come down to breakfast, hit a button, go eat breakfast, and collect my nx70 on the way out loaded with the mornings news, pdanews24, that kind of thing. So I can read during the day, on the full nx screen idealy as well.

There is also Handstory and MobiPocket reader with Web Companion.

Handstory.
You can clip Web pages, clip selected text into "DOC files, and clip images into "Image" files.
It's quick, simple, relatively inexpensive, and is very stable and reliable.
While it does lack some formatting features (tables, I believe) it works well. And if you can find Palm-friendly sites, you are all set.
Try Isilo - it works very well and if you want windows to do it automatically you can use Windows Scheduler to run it a set time of the day. All you have to do is hotsync and you have all the web clippings ready to go. With the new fonts introduced in version 4 it's perfect!

Can you provide more information about what you want the clipper to do?
For me Isilo (with Isilo Clipper) does everything I could imagine from a clipping application.

Idealy, i'd like bbc news, cnet tech news, clie planet (pdanews24), blackhaloinc and maybe a few other news chanels in my clie everymorning at about 8am. Or ready to be synced at 8am. I'm playing with Isilo at the momment.
Isilo is doing quite well, most news chanels look great, pdanews24 seems far to wide though. I havn't tried the auto convert yet, i'll set it up tonight and see how it goes :)

Okay, keep going with Isilo then. I use it to do exactly what you want. Every morning at 4 AM it pulls down about 25 sites (more on Sundays for those that are weekly reads) and it works great.
Playing around with the default settings will eventually get you close to perfection. For example, using the option to always ignore the outer most table makes reading on a pda much easier.
pdanews24 has a mobile version.

Another good choice that I use is Plucker. I have found it to be comparable to iSilo and and it is free since it is open-source.
The viewer and desktop product can be found at:

In addition some people use JPluck to convert websites to Plucker.
