View Full Version : Netront - PPP Timeout

When trying to use NetFront (via cradle/cable) an have been getting "PPP timeouts (0x1231)" ever since I've installed Netfront.


Do I need to select a Service? Or do I just set it up in the NetFront settings?

Any links to NetFront setup would be greatly appreciated. I've been scouring this site and multiple other links with little luck.

what are you connecting it with ? mobile phone ? pc ? mac ?

I'm using a PC and I'm trying to connect via the cradle. I own a NX80.

That app didn't seem to correct the problem, however in the support/faq section on that webpage I found the real solution: downloading the latest Palm Desktop for Sony Clie NX. Here is the address:

ftp://ftp.ita.sel.sony.com/ccpg/clie/NXPDT41.EXE

Once I had installed it, I was immediately able to connect without any problem. Thanks for the help!

Try using a dieffrent browser. Im using webpro from Palm, and it works much faster than Netfront
