Can SL10 run color softwares and games?

I want to buy an entry level SONY PEG-SL10 PDA. But I wonder the capatibility of operating with common color softwares and games. Can most of the color softwares be run in B/W mode of SL10?

Some color games will run on grayscale machines, you will need to check.
Very often there is a separate grayscale version of the game too.

However, if there isn't a greyscale version available and the application does not have greyscale support, you will most likely get an error when you run the game saying that your device doesn't support colour, or can't be set to the right screen mode, or something else regarding the screen/display. (in my experience)

Nothing bad should happen if you try to run a colour game on a b/w device.

Right I have an SL-10 and ran a few games on it. It is mostly trial and error to see if the game runs.

If you want games though you will really be better going with color.
