Hi there,
Is there anybody who can tell me how install a mpeg from a notebook to a nx , so that i can play the mpeg on my nx.
I just do not know how to install this ,what i would prefer is to place the mepg on mem stick ,and play it from the mem stick ,instead of using my memory on the nx.
hopefully somebody can help out
thanks

Install the Image Converter utility onto your PC (it's on the installation CD).

Start the MS Import program on your NX while it is on the cradle. Your NX should appear as a removeable drive on your PC.

Start Image Converter.

Add movies that you want to convert, then hit 'Output to Mem Stick.'

Done!

I try this and it says "selected file's format is not supported".  Is there any way to get a .mpeg on the clie?

Just an add-on to my last message.  I have tried image convertor, I have tried just installing the file onto my MS, and I have tried just right clicking and "Converting to CLIE", but nothing seems to work.  I checked the properties of the file and it just says .mpeg file.  Is there something wrong with my computer that it doesn't translate ANY .mpegs?  How do they expect me to watch my Simpsons?

There is probably something non-standard about the file. It probably uses a different codec or something. Look for TMPGEnc or Virtual Dub, then convert the files into a differnent format that the NX will be able to read.

WOW!  It works.  Those gym trips will go a lot faster now.  Thanks cbulock!

Can you let us know what you used. I can use the supplied converter for most mpeg files, but we have mpeg4 compressed movies that I need to show on my NX that I can't convert - please help...
