OK now that I have HandStory what are the main things you are using it for and how? I am mostly just getting it for the Web Clips but want to know what else it could be good for. Currently I just use small clips site and load clips that way and also use HandStory clips site.

I use it frequently when reading through work e-mail. There may be a list of key contacts or dates or whatever, and I copy and clip to Handstory so I'll have them readily available for reference. I've also done that with images that I wanted to save. It's so quick and easy you'll soon find yourself clipping lots of things.

Definitely agree with hherbzilla.
Just think that you can save Powerpoint slide as .jpeg: You just have to copy them in handstory and that's it.
Handstory just rocks :cool:

What is Fast Clip on the clip settings?
How big of a difference is 256 color compare to High Color?

What is the difference between Direst Clip and Script Clip?

Not exactly sure what the Fast Clip setting does, but it does make the download faster. I suspect clips with the Fast Clip option may be cached on HS's web site. Fast Clip is only availble for clips from their web site.

There is a huge difference in file size between hicolor and 256 color. I use to clip hollywood.com news in hicolor and it took about 1500k, since changing it to 256 color it is a little over 500k. The image difference is noticable, but not unacceptable.

Direct Clips are very easy to use, just plug in the url, how deep you want links to go, manual or automatic update, and image option. This type of clip is best used for web sites that are formated for mobile or pda devices.

Script Clips allow you to parse web sites that are not formated for mobile or pda devices. Much more complicated to use. I haven't created any Script Clips myself. I've found most of my needs are adequately met with Direct Clips.
