It depends on what you're looking for. I use Epocrates Pro for fast accurate info. It is list based and provides fast info for adr, contra-indic, doses and uses, pregnancy info (categorizes info), use, renal & hepatic unfo, cost, interactons calc for both standard and alternative meds COMBINED (up to 30 meds). Over 400 alternative meds database with equiv data to rx pro. Epocrates ID is a superb ID database (by location, bug, drug). A database of clinical tables. Medmath, and Doc alerts. BTW as a Pharmacist I also depend upon other databases. I currently use Physician's Drug Handbook. When this subscription of PDH runs out I will switch to Lexi as my backup. I also depend upon medical databases5MCC, Merck manual, Micromedex, a medical dictionary,a guide to IV meds, Sanfordguide. Tarascon is FREE as a BETA copy for now. I have used it and it is compatible on Backup cards (MS, SD, Compact Flash, etc). So far data for standard meds same as before Beta testing; Alt meds not as good as Epocrates RX pro. Tarascon Database format takes getting used to (especially if you have used it before Beta testing).

ePocrate is great for keeping up to date with new meds. The interaction checker is also very nice. As a pediatrician I also keep lexi drugs peds version on my Clie since ePocrates isn't great for peds dosing.
