The UX-50 is supposed to ship "on or before September 12," a Friday.
I ordered it the first day it was available, so I should be in the first batch of shipments. I did two-day shipping, which means there's a reasonable chance it will arrive on September 16, a Tuesday.
On September 16, I leave for a three-week trip. I don't know if it will arrive in time for me to charge up, set up, and test out. And, in fact, I can imagine that the UPS man will hand me the package as I walk out the door.
My big question is this -- do we know what software comes on the unit, and what has to be installed? Most particularly, I'm interested in whether the Wi-Fi software, the browser, and the Bluetooth are all set up and ready to go, or whether they have to be installed off the CD. Any other thoughts on an instant setup procedure? (I figure I can transfer most of my existing NR-70 data and other files via the Memory Stick, if I have to...)
