Is there any Wi-Fi sniffer software for the WL-100 card? I'm trying to deside between a Palm (T3-when out, or TC). The Tungsten C's Wi-Fi hunter feature is really nice. Does the Clie WL-100 card have that feature or do you have to know the configuration of the Wi-Fi network you're attaching to?

the literal answer to your question is yes, but not on a clie!!!

(the card works in laptops)

no sniffer software... search for sniffer for all the old discussions..

Curious, why didn't you stay with the T|C ?

This has come up several times before. I've spoken to Sony and there is no sniffer for the Clie (from Sony) and they have no plans to release specs to anyone who wants to write one. So, unless someone does some reverse engineering, it doesn't look like there be one. However, if enough people complain to Sony, maybe... I'd suggest that you contact them.

P.S. There is, I understand, a sniffer on the upcoming UX series. However, it uses PalmOS 5.2 API calls, which are not available to "older" Clie models.
