Hi. I just picked up a NX-80 and it's been great. I'm looking to find a USB cable instead of the cradle for synching/powering. I'm wondering if the T-series connector and NX connector are the same and if a T-series cable can do both of these things for me? From googling and these forums, it seems like that is the case, but just wanted to check so I don't up with a doorstop. Thanks in advance.

The connectors are the same. so the T-series hotsync cable will work fot your NX80. Congrats on your purchase1 :D
yes, I used my old belkin usb charging cable from my t615C in my nx80v and use the old garmin to T series gps cable too:)

Basically, only the "N" series is NOT compatible, since the connector is different.

Yep, that's the only regret I have about my 770C.

Also keep in mind that you can use a standard USB cable along with the adaptor that comes with the NX80 (I assume one does, as one came with my NX73). I use the USB cable that came with my Sony Cybershot, but any standard USB to mini USB cable should work. Only problem is that it doesn't supply power for charging (you need the Clie power brick for that).
