How to transfer old MS to New MS?

I'm running out of space on my 64m MS and I am going to get a 128m . Is there a way to transfer all my info to my new one without going through alot?

The CLIE in the ROM has a program called MSImport. Runing this program will make the memory stick in the CLIE look like a virtual drive from the PC (while you have the PDA on the cradle!). Copy the files off the MS onto the PC.
Once this is done, from the PC, stop the virtual drive (the CLIE MS), exit MSImport on the CLIE. Then you can swap to the new 128Mb MS.
Run MSImport again and copy the contents from the PC to the MS.

It's not the fastest, but the simplest since the MS looks like a virtual drive on the PC.

Note : I am assuming you are running Windows XP, ME or 2000.

It works also with Win98. The MS is called "Removable Disk" in Windows Explorer.

so do you copy ALL the files or are there some that are relative to each individual MS? I guess I'm driving at the question whether it's safe to copy ALL from the old MS to the new.

I did it 4 days ago, ctrl + A to select everything works fine, then just copy it to a folder in your desktop. Insert the 128 and fire up MSImport again and just copy into the new memory stick. No problems.

Thanks for the help, I just hope that Sony will have at least a 512MB MS out soon .:D
