Use JackSprat from Brayder (www.brayder.com). There is a beta version available that will delete ROM apps from the newer CLIE PDAs.
It would be better to buy JackFlash and JackSprat all at once.
Caveat : Please make sure you really know what you are doing before you go deleting the ROM since you can't put it back! Have a look at Tanker Bobs site ( http://www.tankerbob.com/palm/ ) and LaunchPlug ( http://staff.unk.edu/s/spradlinb/visor/ ) as they have valuable tips on using the ROM and MS.

I've actually figured out a way to delete built-in apps from within ZLauncher. But they seem to come back on a soft reset.
:(
 Did they really think everyone will need a remote control?

Without Brayder's software, deleting ROM apps it's not possible.
