Since you have an NX60, you'll need to install 3rd Party CF drivers, such as Eruware. Have you done this?

You installed what files? Some were only for the NX73/80. They have to be treated as two different animals.
The hacks were mainly intended for seasoned Clie users as it can be quite complex.
There are the Pelaca so called drivers which is nothing more than a compilation of other drivers.
Then there is CliePet's hacked apps.
Then the EruWare driver.
I basically stayed with the EruWare driver on my NX70 and also stayed with the Sony driver on the NX73/80. On the NX73/80, it's mostly the Sony multimedia apps that are hacked to make them multi-card aware. Some use the NX73/80 drivers on the NX70/60.
For the NX60/70 you might also want to check out the following.
