i need to give my friend stephen all the info on zack tomorrow, can i do it? i have the nx 70 he has the axim x5......is it possible? i'm lazy iwant to beam it

just try it should work I beam stuff to my laptop all the time.
beaming contacts to a pocket PC? I'm remaining skeptical about this matter. :p

Yes you can. It works with Pocket PC 2002 or Windows Mobile 2003.

it will work to any device that uses the vcard standard for formatting contacts.. and guess what PPC uses just such a format.....
I use this feature all the time for my business card.. it works both ways with PPC, EPOC and Palm devices.. can even do it to Nokia and SonyEricsson cellphones if anyone is interested....

Can you give further detail in how you did it, please?

It's simple: Make sure the recieving device has its IR on. Align both IRs. Select contact, tap menu and select "Beam Adress". Done :cool:
You can also do this with Bluetooth if you have it. No need to align and "Beam" is "Send".
