IR Modem

I just purchased a Pegasus III 56K IR Modem for use with my NX70V. I have installed and setup the Netfront and ClieMail and cannot get the mail to work at all. The broweser speed is about as slow as paint drying. Am I not setting this thing up right or is the IR just not fast enough?

Any suggestions?

I really don't know what to tell you, other than make sure the speed is set 115,200bps for both and Flow Control set to auto.

Additionally, keep it line of site and very close range. Flourescent lighting can kill the speed too, or other kinds of light source interference!
