I remember reading something about one being able to use the hi-res enabled verions of the datebook, todo, address, etc, that came with newer clies on my nr device. Sure would be nice to be able to use the whole screen on those apps.
f I'm mistaken, what are some viable alternatives to Datebook?

You should be able to take NX copies of the PIM apps and put them on your NR. I've never done it, because there are better 3rd-party apps to use anyway. The two you'll hear about for datebooks are Datebk5 and Agendus. Both have their advantages and disadvantages, so you should try them yourself. Datebk5 looks very much like the regular Datebook on the surface, but is incredibly powerful. Agendus also has a lot of added features and is a bit prettier. There's also been an issue with the makers of Agendus using less-than-honest business practices, which turned a lot of people off from their product. But like I said, people will give you reasons why each is better, so you'll have to see for yourself.

datebk5 is a fabulous replacement for the built in datebook. The only problem with it is that you can get lost in all of the options. Thank God it comes with a good manual. Get it from: http://www.pimlicosoftware.com/datebk5.htm

my personal fave is Agendus from www.iambic.com (some people like datebk, others like Agendus... trial both and decide !)
