That's pretty funny.

I was watching a movie with my headphones in one day at work. My boss came over and asked, "What are you doing?" I said, "listing to some voice notes." I then switched over to voice recorder, popped out the ear plugs and played some journal report garbage I had made up the night before. He thought I was a genius :D

Well I am ready to spend $700 for a non upgradable PDA with slow CPU, short battery life, proprietary slot and no peripherals.

Why would I want the same capability plus upgradability for half the price if I can pay Sony the whole $700.
