I just got my new 665C the other day to replace my Palm IIIxe. So far I love it. Can't imagine what I was working on before! Haven't gotten the folding keyboard for it yet like the IIIxe, but that will come in time.

I'mlooking for a case for my T665C to keep it safe. I liked the case I had with my IIIxe, one of these bad boys:

because it was waterresistant, padded, and did a great job...

Wanted something similar, but that would allow room for headphones to be plugged in, as well as uses that clip on the back, rather than glue to hold the case's velcro on.

Anyone recommend a case?

Does anyone sell a velcro patch with those clips like the back of the T665C has? that would be ok if I can use a similar case (maybe just get the larger universal case so there is room for the headphones).

I needed a case for my T665 as well so I ordered this one on Sunday.

http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Merchant_Id=&Section_Id=200589&pcount=&Product_Id=125510&Section.Section_Path=%2F%2FRoot%2FMobileSolutions%2FPDAAccessories%2FCases%2F

It's made by Belkin and costs $19.99 but right now Belkin has a 50% off sale going. I'll let you know how the case is when it arrives.

Go here http://www.belkin.com/discounts/ to get the 50% off.

P.S. I've seen the case you have in your post and I personally thought it was too big but did offer a good bit of protection.

Thanks, let me know how it is.... If I don't have to take the case of to sync...it's golden!

Is it easy to remove the Clie out of the case?

Checked the Sena too.... how is that as far as protection...

A bit more expensive, but seems more user friendly.

The only cases I know of that use the T-series clips is the aluminum Innopocket and similar cases, which are nice and tough but not water resistant.

StylusCentral.com offers some 'Velcro sleeves' that you slip your PDA into to use a Velco case so you don't have to stick the stuff on your PDA- then you can use a wide variety of cases.

Rhinoskins.com offers the 1100 series case, one of my all-time favorites. Instead of Velcro, it uses 4 elastic straps in the corners. It offers padding, water resistance, additional pockets and room, etc. Never tried it with my T665, but it worked GREAT for my Visor and N610.

You might also consider the Incipio series. They use the dread Velcro, but are remarkably tough and FREE at www.freecases.com.

I think I'm going to get the Belkin, seems to protect well, and I can get a knife and cut free the hold button/back button.

Does it easily allow buttons to go on?

Where can I find one of those?

www.rhinoskin.com (now a Saunders company) offers the 11oo here: http://www.saunders-usa.com/rhinoskin/prod.cfm?cat_id=5031&prod_id=5073 for $19.95.

I modified mine by adding a piece of elastic in the 'hinge' area for a stylus, and changing the belt loop to the type the www.incasedesigns.com uses on their PDA pouch (using a small buckle and adding a D-ring). Later, I switched the belt loop to a Velcroed design instead of the buckles.

When I used it for my Visor, I also added a pair of elastic bands to hold spare batteries.

The result was a slim, shock-absorbing, water-resistant case that had room for other items, does not use Velcro to hold the PDA, can clip to a strap or beltloop using the D-ring, and can be attached to or removed form a belt easily.

Hey Bud,

Before you buy the Belkin, check out this long discussion we had on cases a couple of weeks ago...
