Ok-
So, like a madman, last week i went and pre-ordered the UX-50-
along with every conceivable accessory...

one of them being the 1GB Memory Stick Pro.

It was listed as back-ordered on the SonyStyle site (where i purchased everything) with no real estimate as to when it would arrive.

It came today!
(so pretty it is)

anyway; my point?
my point is that maybe the UX-50 will ship earlier than expected, just like the 1GB Memory Stick pro did.

Try the 17in laptop from toshiba!

or the 10in subnotebook from sony (TR1A)

My "secret" to financial success has been my Sony Citibank Visa card!

you get points (just like other credit cards) for purchases, except these points go towards the purchase of Sony Products. They often have promotions where if you buy a Sony Product, you get 5 points for each dollar.

So...my buddy is gonna get a new computer? i get him to write me the check and i put it on my credit card. same goes for family members, etc...gimme the cash, so i can get the points.

got my SonyEricsson P800 with points from my card...

anyway, i just wish i had the UX-50 so i could put the 1GB card into it...it looks so lonely

WOW! Congrats.:) I couldn't justifiy the 1GB MS, tho 512MB is going to have to be good enough!:D I can't wait for 9 Sept to roll around.

I am sorry but the Extended Battery is the original UX50 package or you add in extra $$ for it??

it's extra. each of those items is a seperate purchase.

I have noticed that Sept. 9th has been mentioned as a delivery date. Just curious about the source of that info. I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my UX 50. I seem to have lost interest in my PPC devices.

I guess this means they aren't shipping FIFO. I have had my back order since the day after they announced! I guess I should have ordered more stuff.

I pre-ordered my UX50 too...Can't wait to get my hand on it!!!!!!!!!

Slightly off topic here. Didn't Citibank discontinued the Sony Visa Card already? They send me a Mastercard (Diamond Preferred Reward card).
