Anyone know if the refurbished Clies have new batteries?

Considering buy a refurb. tg50, or a nx60 and was jsut wondering. Also, I have heard that refurb.'s have a 90 day warranty, and also heard they have a 1 year warranty, which is correct? Thanx!

I wouldn't think so, unless that particular Clie had a battery issue. I believe Sony only offers 90 days on refurbs. There are other outlets, but I don't think they woud offer a longer warranty than Sony, unless you pay for an extended warranty.

I can't give a definite answer on the battery, but I have bought a couple of refurb units, and both have come with uncharged batteries, and instructions to charge for four hours before using. That makes me inclined to believe the batteries may be new. As for warranties, I think 90 days is normal for refurbs.
