It would be supported but it is impossible, the highest OS it will run is 3.52S.

not sure if it's possible. Been trying to help my buddy do it with his S300 (which was once mine) with no luck. you might want to try pidirect or something like that. Either that or upgrade, my god man, your PDA is almost 2 years old!!! :)

You can create a tempory drive and use windows explorer to drag and drop files right into the memory stick. On my S300, I did this by installing the audio player program that comes with the audio adapter. If your interested I'm selling mine for $30 with shipping!

colinmcintire, the one for the S300 to play MP3 files ? Is there any cheap way to ship it to europe ?
And how to create a temporary drive on the clie side ?
Right now the JPG files are at the CFZap directory at the PALM/PROGRAMS folder. And I like to transfer them from MS to Windows. And if its possible I also like to transfer games from Windows to the MS, so that they could be beamed to the handy (thos game files indeed also havent pdb and prc as extension ;) ). But the transfer from Windows to MS isnt that important. The first part with the JPEG files is essential.

The audio player software creates a tempory drive that you enable by (while the clie is in the cradle) tapping the menu and then choosing "transfer." It then connects to your PC and creates the tempory drive. You can then create folders and put jpgs in them if you want. I'm not sure what you want to do with them, so write back and tell me. I only used it for MP3's on my S300. But I do remember using this feature to store some files on my memory stick that were not PDB's! Hope this helps.

P.S. I don't know how much shipping to Europe would be, tell me where you live and I'll try to find out...

I think you can find the software-by itself-on one of the Yahoo Clie groups. There should be links to them on the main cliesource page, on the right-hand side! That might work!

Yes! Join this club, and the link "files" on the left-hand side will take you to a page where you should find "Audio Related Prog." This link will take you to a download page. Get the one thats "Audio Player 2.2 English ver. T series only!" This one should work! Its difficult to install, so search that group for some help, because you'll need Filez to change a setting that prevents it from working. I think :) Good luck! I did this, so I know it works!

Unregistered, I DLed the AudioPlayer 2.2 for T series only zip file. Then I found at the chaotic structure of the Yahoo forum some advice, that the 2 prc files have to be moved first to MS (which is the problem here, but i have access to other Clies with working MSImport ;) ), then "Read only" attribute have to be turned off and then it could be moved from MS to Clie (which isnt any prob even with the S300, cause Filez does that fine).
So far, so good. I also know bout the "Transfer ..." menu item at Audio Player. So at the Clie side I have to select that menu item. But what do I have to install (any additional drivers for example (HotSync already works fine with the Clie)) or do at the Windows side to get the MS inside the S300 as drive ? Or does everything work automatically from the point on that I put the Clie into the craddle, opened Audio Player 2.2 and selected there "Transfer ..." ? Means will then automatically be some new volume at for example the Explorer ?

Tell me what happens! I want to know if it works! I don't ever remember installing anything on my PC, it should just create the temporary drive, I hope! Well, I have Win 98SE, so maybe you have something different, huh?

ColinMcIntire, tried now to install the "Audio Player 2.2 English ver. T series only!". The main difference to the other version I tried (Audio Player 1.0.1 from my T625) is that at least it didnt crashed.
Installing werent that hard. You simply put the files on the MS, then put it to internal RAM, then start FileZ and check for both files the Details. There you see that "Read only" is checked. Uncheck that one and save it. Then move the file back to MS and insert the MS into the S300 (dont do anything mentioned before on the S300 cause it wont work). So that way the files arent 0 byte anymore and you see the Audio Player icon on the Palm Desktop. But when you start the application the following error message appears :
"This application does not run because the required library is missing or the system doesnt support a memory stick media."
The second part of the message is ****, cause MSAutorun, MSGate, FileZ, CFZap, etc. works perfectly fine with that S300 and the Memory Stick mounted.
So which library is needed and where to get it ?
Thx in advance for any hints.

Since Sony had the MP3 adapter on sale for $50 I was thinking of getting one. For all of you experienced users how is the sound and playback. Seems to be a pretty cheep way to get an MP3 player any drawbacks? How much music can fit on a 128 mb stick? Any advice on the sticks? Thanks in advance.

Sorry Zork, back from oblivion... Hey, if you did everything I did, I don't understand why its not working! You mentioned something about the memory stick being mounted in one of your posts. I don't know if your trying PidirectII or something, but I know I didn't use that! Well, I hope you have had some success recently.
