Guys - help!

I'm trying to convert quicktime files into kinoma format for my SJ30 with SA10 audio.

I have no problems converting when I select ADPCM for the audio, but I'd like to hear the sound through the adaptor.

However, when I encode for clie audio, no matter what settings I use the resulting file crashes the SJ30 with a fatal exception, and the Clie needs resetting.

What am I doing wrong?

My producer settings are:

VIDEO - Cinepak Mobile, 12FPS, 320 x 240, 560Kbps
AUDIO - Clie Audio, Stereo, 33Kbps, no audio boost

Thanks in advance,

GOO

I found the problem!:D

It's Audio player - I'd installed 2.2.1 so I could have background play. However, when it's enabled it messes with clie audio encoded Kinoma movies. Turn off background play and voila - it works like a charm!

Oh - and for any body with the same combo as me, the best set of encoding options I've come up with (best trade off against preformance / quality) are:

VIDEO - Cinepak Mobile, 12FPS, 320 x 240, 480Kbps
AUDIO - Clie Audio, Stereo, 47Kbps, no audio boost

This results in good quality skip free audio and video, without resorting to overclocking.

Cheers,
