Maybe you need Winzip of another unzipping program? If you do, your file associations might be wrong.
Hold down SHIFT while right-clicking on the file in Windows Explorer. Choose "Open with..." from the menu. That will give you choice of which program to use on the .zip file.

When you say unknown file format, exactly what file format are they? What are the filenames of the downloaded files?

Cameron,
I was spared the blackout, hopefully you were too??
To: Casiokid, you need to be more specific with the filename, please??

Maybe if you go to the download section you'll have more luck.

Larry, yes I just barely missed the blackout. Only lost power for a minute. The state capitol has been out of power here though (I live only 20 minutes away).

Ah, very good, we both got lucky:)
Thanks to the people at the Valley Forge switch in Pennsylvania, I didn't lose power, even though the nuke plant 10 miles south of me had shutdown. If Valley Forge didn't stop it, the blackout would have extended all the way to Florida. I got this info from an engineer friend who works at the local Oyster Creek nuke plant. I did take a brief power hit of less than a second, just enough for the fridge power failure light to flash. If it lasted two seconds, then all the digital clocks in the kitchen would have been flashing. I woke up in time to hear one of the New York radio stations come back on a few minutes later. Last year I had picked up a 12,000 watt insurance policy and have a two day supply of gasoline.:)
