I've just moved over from PPC and am now the proud owner of a NX70V. But I've got a couple of questions about the Clie Launcher.

Firstly I've noticed some skins on this site for the built in Clie launcher but I can't seem to find anywere that tells you how to install them, how do you do it?

Secondly there is a button on the staus bar to display the Silk Plug-in screen, when I press it a box opens with an entry called standard input. I take it that this means that the silk plugin is installed but how can you can the display?

Lastly I'm thinking of getting one of the MS Pro Memory Sticks probably the half meg one but I've heard you need to install some software, does this come with the MS or do you have to download it from somewhere?

Thanks

To install skins just download the one you want, unzip it, double click on the .prc file and then hotsync (you might want to try standard view - to get there hit the menu button which is directly underneath the house in the graffiti area, go to options the hit "go to standard view"). For all the updates, including MS PRO, go to http://www.ita.sel.sony.com/support/clie/nx70v/softupdates/ .

Enjoy your NX.

1. To install Clie Launcher skins: Click your options button (button next to house along bottom), under options select Preferences. The Display pulldown should give you the skins you've downloaded as per meir87's earlier post.

2. The silk plug-in screen allows you to select other forms of input. ie. Grafitti, Decuma, NetMon(not an input). Do a search on Decuma and OKEY for more info. I believe that when you use a free program called OKEY and visit Jims Tips at http://g04.com/html/index.php you can change
your grafitti area.

Hope this helps...................
