Just a heads up to let you all know that the hitchiker series is on special at palm digital media (www.palmdigitalmedia.com) now through the end of august. For those who think Douglas Adams is the man. I know there's a few of you on the board at least.
DON'T PANIC! :D

As long as I have my towel, I don't need the question.
Hey, can someone spare a leaf? I need some food.

Well, you've all re-inspired me to go out and re-read the entire series. It's been YEARS since my last encounter with Ford and Zaphod, and Arthur. I'm excited now!!!!

The amazing thing about HHGTTG was the fact that it started as a radio play
... and was so widely appreciated it became a book,
... and that sold so well it became a TV series
... and that begat a second book
... and ......................... the rest is history. :)
It's on one of the audiobook binary newsgroups at the moment.

Does anybody else have "The Ultimate Hitchiker's Guide : Complete and Unabridged"? Published by Portland House. It's AWESOME. It's got "The Hitchiker's Guide To the Galaxy", "The Restaurant At the End of the Universe", "Life, The Universe and Everything", "So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish", "Young Zaphod Plays It Safe", and "Mostly Harmless" all in one book with black binding and gold trim? If you don't get it. It's awesome. Oh wait I said that already... just get it.

I have it. I even made an ebook out of it, which is not for free distribution.

Yeah, that's better!
He also wrote some of Dr. Who's best episodes, but that's Somebody Else's Problem!

Can't wait for the movie, which, after Mr. Adam's untimely demise, is now back on track. With today's CGI, this thing is going to rock. Now, if only they can get Terry Gilliam to direct, we're in business.
