Zlauncher is a complete (i.e. RAM and multiple expansion cards) file manager combined with an easy-to-configure application launcher. It also comes with its own ‘Quick-Launch’ capability to easily launch your favorite, most recent, or most commonly used programs. It offers top and bottom tool bars that can be configured to your taste & needs using up to 36 available tools. Additional tools are available in sliding non-configurable control & tool panels. It supports Hi-Res icons & small fonts with up to full 16-bit color depth. For those who prefer the “Tab Look”, up to 10 category tabs can be visible at one time. I also found it extremely easy to add my own background pictures and even my own skins (called ‘Themes’ in Zlauncher). After-purchase support for Zlauncher is also fantastic, from ZZTECHS themselves to a nice Yahoo! User Group, as well as freeware developers of Themes and theme generation programs. And the price for all this? A mere $12. Needless to say, I found Zlauncher to be one of the most flexible, powerful, yet most cost-effective enhancements I’ve made to my PDA.

I'd say that was a very good and fair review. Much better than the one I read at infoSync World the other day.

I agree it was a nice review. Re: the infosync world review, what exactly were they looking for when it comes to shortcut/alias support? As far I knew, I have been using shortcuts for the last 2 months for programs and their associated databases but I could be mistaken :)

The startup time might be slow if there are lots of files in /Palm/Launcher/ and autosync is on.
