View Full Version : Anyone see this sync/charge USB cable?

Any reason to believe this is legit (or not?). If so, it could a partial answer to the 'it must be in the cradle to charge issue' while travelling. This thing, attached to a USB->AC converter, would solve it...

That's nice, would come in handy when going between more then one computer.

I do not see how this is a legit cable in the fact they claim it can both sync and charge. Hotsyncing on the UX is only through the Mini-USB port on the side. This cable does not even have a Mini-USB connection. Plus, the charging pins for the UX are on the bottom of the device. I do not see how this cable would attached to those.

Truthfully, this cable looks more like it would works for the NX/NZ series.

I guess it all comes down to "Buyer Beware".

i think its one of those auctions that have a generic picture.

i boutght my G700 for my T615 a while back but the picture in the auction had a palm V .

i tried looking for somethign that would say "not actual picture" or "may differ fromy your model"

The seller texaswireless has a 1075 feedback rating with 99.4% positive feedback. That's very good. I'd trust this seller.

nah, all the feedback are from sellers and generally people dont submit feedback at all so having that many looks SUSS

These guys have been selling on ebay for years. I have seen them. They tend to be one of the first to sell chargers, cases, etc...for new model Clies and other cutting edge PDAs. But, they always use generic pics (like what was mentioned). I have never done business with them however, so I do not know. I did notice several different sellers selling what looks to be NX sync charging cables for the UX. I too am not sure how this would work or whether they are just using generic pictures. I would be careful here.
