mmmm what happened to the audio spectrum analizer for the audio player that is found in previous clie's? (i.e. T665C)...
Anyways, with mini CF patch, i can use my 256CF card to play lots of mp3s.

Its not on any OS5 units. However, we can now edit the playlist so thats something over the OS4 player. I also have my screen off when using the MP3 player so its not that big of a deal for me.
what archangel said
and that the os5 audio player has is bass boost
while the older audioplayer does not.
sony probably thought the visualization was rather useless

Which is very true. Why do you need the visualization and waste all the resources. ;)

It would be excellent if there's an equalizer for the next audioplayer version... :D

and multiple playlists. and an id3 tag editor.
also a bass boost control on the remote itself :p its annoying having to get the PDA out of my pocket, open it up, then adjust the boost... then close it and put it back... :p all that work just to adjust bass boost :D

and at least give me a LED display on the remote control...!
sony actually got provision for that...! they are only using 2 pins of the remote control socket for control....the other 2 pins (actually there are 4 pins, 2 on each side, it's seperate i have cut it open so i know) is probably reservd originally for that purpose...!

looks like the audio player used for the car cradle will have the spectrum analyser!
I'm sure I saw it in the flash demo.

Why; are you using your Clie for sound reinforcement and trying to ring out feedback? :)
