Okay, I just got my NX80V and decided to install the Palm Desktop and all that jazz. I am using my previous user ID from my NR70V,

I went to hotsync, and of course all of my old files get back on the NX80V. Then I need to soft reset because it is the first time I'm hotsyncing. But when that happens, I go into a reset loop and need to hard reset. It did this three times on me. I think it is because some of the programs are not compatible and I don't have enough internal memory on the NX.

So my question is, how can I delete the hotsync backups so I am able to install all of my apps one-by-one with the updated versions (Sold my NR70V back in June).

Otherwise, every time I sync it is going to put me in a reset loop leading to a hard reset.

Thanks in advance!!!

There's a backup folder that contains all of this stuff. Rename it (e.g., backup081203) and then create a new, empty backup folder. When you hotsync next, it'll look to the empty folder instead.

Do a hard reset to clear your machine, and then begin installing your apps one-by-one.

Thanks for your reply, but I can't find the folder. Where is it?
