You know the type of reader which directly plugs into a USB port? I'm after one for MSPro. Preferably USB2. Recommendations appreciated, thanks.

Haven't used it since I can't use MSPro, but Lexar has a nice looking multicard reader that supports MSPro and USB 2. Just go to lexarmedia.com. I've seen it for sale for around $28 at either WalMart or Target, don't remember which.

I just bought the Lexar... it is a piece of C#!@#$ !!!.... first one worked on CF, but garbled SD cards, and did not work with PRO at all... was on the phone with them yesterday, they determined it was defective... back to compusa for another one... this one can read cards, BUT only if the system is booted with the cards in place... eject does not work (software eject), and if you pull a memory stick out, it will not re-read it... I definitely do NOT recommend buying it if you have windows 2k.... actually leaving to return it to compusa right now...
I have the Sandisk Imagemate pro, very good, it does not even need drivers... it is my choice for a ms pro reader... I also have the sony one, it is really pretty, smaller, requires a driver, and costs $70... it works fine, but I prefer a reader that does not need any drivers...

I can get one from work for you guys. We carry lots of USB flash readers and we just got a 8n1 that supports the MS Pro. I'd be happy to grab a few for my fellow Cliesource members so let me know if you want one. It'll be cheap cause I can get them wholesale. E-mail me here:
