I have AIM and Verichat. I here OneMail will give you access to typical free e-mail accounts like Yahoo and MSN. Don't know if it works with AOL. I downloaded it but haven't tried it yet.

AIM: http://aol.com/anywhere/
Verichat: www.pdaapps.com
OneMail: http://www.palmgear.com/software/showsoftware.cfm?prodID=43516
-doesn't do AOL though.

I can't get Verichat working for some reason. It won't recognize my screenname.

cosmicblend, thanks for the link. I put it onto my clie, enter my sn and it says: Could not log you on. Please check or screen name and/or password. If you are using AIM for the first time, please go to newaol.com/aim/friend.html to register a screenname and password.
This is very strange considering I use this name all the time on regular aim and aol and I'm positive my password is correct. Maybe it's because it's an aol name?

I've been going back and forth with OneMail regarding the above questions. I even asked for a phone number to call, but haven't recv'd one as of yet. They never seem to answer all my questions clearly. They need to clear up the following;
1) Does it work as a stand alone app or in conjunction with Clie Mail, DataViz mail and all the other 3rd party mail apps.
2) Can it work with the wifi WL100 and an access point directly or does it need to be linked to a PC running a OneMail conduit, or similar.
3) Will it work reliably with AOL,MSN,YAHOO.
4) Does it support attachments, with Clie Mail or 3rd party apps
I could be missing something, anyone else have any thoughts?

I´ve been using Verichat for messaging. I registered it after just one week of trial, I think it is great.
And it works if you use a CF 56k modem.
