I read all these write ups about the form factor of the new ux50, people saying that sony is crazy for coming out with landscape mode instead of the n series style layout with 480x320 and virtual grafitti. I myself have upgraded from a clie n760c to an nx70v and i remember the times i had gotten video to run smoothly on my n760 it was a pain in the butt to watch having to hold it sideways! The nx70 v at least with its design can hold itself up! The ux50 in my opinion is the best thing to happen to clie multimedia users EVER!!!! I am now going to stick it out with my nx70v because of the cf driver and i just aquired a 4gb cf card! Am i alone here does anybody agree I havent heard that much praise just a bunch of b1tc#ing about old style n series form factors...but i thought thats why they came out with the TG series..then i found out about the screen size and certain options it does and doesnt have. The best selling clie ever has to be the nx series clies....period the price of the nz was outrageous the nr was convincing and i have to say iver always hated palm products in general ...and i also must admit that the "darkside" finally has there heads out there hoops integrating tv out and possible wireless lan video streaming capabilities...come on sony you claim to have the multimedia device prove it !!!

The Clie doesn't support FAT32 so the maximum addressable storage using FAT16 would be 2Gb. How are you using that 4Gb card?

I want my screen to be designed for the things I do all day long, like my calendar, to dos, etc. The NX screen is ideal for this type of use. Holding it sideways for the occasional movie is just fine by me.

same for me. went to sample the newest ppcs and palms today (not ux). There are none worth upgrading my nx70 for. But wow those hp 1900's sure are small.

Memory Stick Pro will eventually go up to 32GB, this is projected to 2008 I believe. Just like 2GB is projected for 2004, 4GB for 2005, 8GB for 2006.... I just thought it would go up like that. Eventually having 32GB would be awesome, but that's in 5 years, a lot can happen in 5 years.
