NX80 Auto off-Any way to disable?

Does anyone know how to disable the auto off feature of the NX80?

The max one can set seems to be 3 mins. The unit then switches itself off.

Only seems to allow the "always on" feature while is powered using cradle.

Very inconvenient when reading something like an e-book. need to tap the screen ever so often to leave it on. Am using Docs to Go 5.0

Any ideas?

You can also try the "dot three shortcut". In memo pad, write the shortcut symbol, a period, then the number 3 and auto-off will be disabled until you soft reset. Here is some more info and other known "dot shortcuts":

can't find those two but with the word dimmer and power, found a few on the palmgear site

Those are both good.

I use Energy Dimmer and have used the freeware AutoOff as well.

Actually, I don't think this dot shortcut works with OS 5.

There is a freeware program, Always On, that will solve your problem.

I couldn't figure out the Auto Off software but then I'm brand new to this whole PDA thang. I did get the dot 3 shortcut to work without a problem! No more annoying auto off.

I believe if you enable security, it may override and shut off the Clie too.
