Launcher & skins Help

I've been looking through this site at all the skins & launchers. Can anyone tell me where to start on how to create and load my own? What programs are used, file types etc? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are several launchers for palm OS, each with it's on way of loading skins and backgrounds.
Maybe you should check palmgear (www.palmgear.com) and try some of the different launchers like YiShow, MegaLauncher or zLauncher.
I personally use zLauncher and recommend it to everyone.

Searching the forums should give you most answers about using skins and backgrounds...goodluck

Having recently gotten an NX80V myself, I downloaded ZLauncher from this very site.

1) Unzip the file, run ZLauncher.prc (Palm Application), and then Hotsync.

2) Copy the provided theme (i.e. ZLT_AquawoodXP_SonyHR_64K.prc), or your chosen theme into the right folder on your Clie (i.e. Palm/Programs/ZLauncher/Theme).

3) Run ZLauncher
