Maybe it is a lack of patience or coordination, but after five years and three different PDAs I have yet to put on a screen protector without making a bubble or something. I have basically been using the Fellowes brand since that is all I can find locally. Does anyone have tips for putting these one or is there a better brand to try?

The "washable" type are a bit more durable and tend to bubble less. I had the same problem with the fellows brand. Once I tried to lift the screen protector to redo it would stretch out of shape. Would have to remove completly and use another one. Ended up using 3 or 4 each time.
Go with the "washable" type. It will save you headaches.

I use the Sony protectors and they have no problems with bubbles. I had one once and it actually worked it's way out on it's own. Anyway, I think it's easier to put these on because they are a little thicker.

I use a Brando protector. The first time I tried it I screwed it up. The guy that makes them was kind enough to send me another one free of charge. This time i wiped clean the screen with lint free cloth and peeled back a little of the protector and applied that to the screen, making sure it was lined up properly. Then I slowly removed the rest of the back and applied to the screen as i went. I finally had the sucker on there without bubbles and aligned perfectly. Hope this helps....
Alignment and starting point are key. For my NR, I find that using a credit card eliminates all bubbles, if you go slowly and carefully. It's the perfect width. But if you negelcted to get rid of a piece of dust, there will be a bubble over it. So make sure to wipe down the screen first with a lint-free cloth.
