Hi all,
my RAM is almost filled up with apps that dont run form MS, and i heard a lot about transferring things to the ROM. I have two questions :
1 - How do you do that ?
2 - What are the risks for the clié ? can it become completly unusable ?
Ps : i already screwed a motherboard while performing a BIOS update... dont want the same faith for my Nx70v

You need JackFlash from www.brayder.com (http://www.brayder.com)
It is a simple app to use, just open it and chose what apps you want to put into FlashROM.
Apparently, FlashROM and Flash Memory (MS, SD, CF etc) are very similar as to life spans etc. SO putting files in your ROM is no worse than putting them on your MS! (someone correct me if im wrong here!)
Matt
JackFlash isn't particularly dangerous. You can only add stuff to flash, but not remove what's built in by Sony. I suppose it could cause a hard reset, but so can lots of other simpler apps. What's potentially disastrous is JackSprat because you can permanently delete essential system files from your Clie. But it's not available for the NX anyway, so you don't have to worry about that.

Any files or updates that mirror those in ROM, must stay in RAM. Read only files can go into Flash Rom. Certain hacks or utliltes may balk a little. Otherwise amost everything can be stuffed there as long as it is read only.
Put Jack Enable in Flash, and put JackFlash in the /Palm/Launcher/ folder

if an application is listed as compatible (okay in flash) and it doesn't work for you, don't be surprised, they are often version sensitive.
