adding a second clie

well, i made the mistake of showing my wife how to use my clie, and now i have to buy another one because she won't give that one back! which really just gives me an excuse to upgrade from an sj20 to an nr70 (sony refurb). now, here's the problem:

i need to move my data (datebk5, address book, etc) into the new nr70. how do i do that, if my wife plans to continue using the sj20?

there's probably an easy method, but i can't figure it out. if the nr70 has a different name from the sj20, how can i persuade my imac to move the data into the nr70?

You can do several things. The easiest is to copy all of your files to your mac and then do a hard reset on the old CLIE. Use your old name / user for the new CLIE. Then you can give your wife a new name on the old CLIE. Her CLIE will also be 'refreshed' as you do a fresh install of the software, and the software can be tailored to her tastes, not yours.

If you two want to carry both calendars, use dualdate from Palm, which is hirez (not hirez+, alas).

You can 'beam' contact list categories (and to do lists, I suppose) between the CLIEs, which is pretty easy.

I can't seem to find dualdate 1.1 - only 1.0, which is NOT hi-rez. Anyone know how I can get it to be hirez?
