MS Pro: Backward Compatibility?

Has anyone seen any documentation stating definitively that the new MS PRO sticks will not work at all on older Clie's? I am wondering if they in fact will work but the speed will be like the standard MS and not the faster speed advertised? Maybe just wishful thinking...

Thinking that too. But I think there might be a different hardware architech for the MS pro from the regular MS.

But then the NX series will be compatible...

NX and NZ will work with the new Memory stick pros only
