that's right... back to the store.

not cuz i didn't like it...au contraire, mon frere.  it was doing some tweaky stuff when powering on (freezing and the like), and right when my problems started, the sj33 pics showed up, and it was love at first sight.

i know most folks here seem nonplused at best by the SJ33, but i think it's a beaut.  i like the style, i like the size, i like the fact that i don't need a case, and i LOVE all the goodies that the t665 had but with a real battery and better buttons.

now i just have to wait patiently till they cross the ocean (i'm hoping to get my hands on an orange one).  wait... wait... wait...

man, this sucks.

You have more willpower than I do; I can't imagine being without a Clie for a day, let alone a few weeks (maybe more if you're really waiting for orange). But I do agree that the SJ30 is a great little machine; my wife has one and sometimes I would love to carry that little thing around. I haven't read a lot of the posts about the SJ33, but I think it looks cool (maybe not the orange one, though :)). It will be interesting to see what the lid looks like in person and how functional it is.

You don't mind the weight of the SJ33? It is almost double that of the SJ30.

no it's not... that pc world article that said it was 7.8 oz miscalculated.  sony states the weight of the sj33 as 172g, which is 6.06 oz, which is much lighter than my sj30 was in its dsi case, and only 1.5oz heavier than the sj30 without the case.
