I have been finding creative ways to pay for my PDA throughout the years. My latest being applying for the Sony reward credit card, accumulate points to pay for my PDA, sell my old model on e-bay and basically get the upgrade for free. Then at the end of year I can still have my accountant depreciate as a business expense. I have been upgrading to a new clie every 6 month to a year. How do you guys do it?

I don't get to deduct it as a business expense but I've been upgrading about every 9 months using the Best Buy warranty (and yes, I did have legitimate problems that were not purposely caused). I gave that PDA to my wife and bought the T665 from CompUSA. When they finally get the NX73, I'll upgrade using their warranty because my backlight died.

It took 2 months salary after I had saved up enough for university.

I would give an arm and a leg for NZ90. But it weighs a ton and won't fit in my pocket. How do you carry that without a purse?

Like albertyma, I too use the "Sony reward credit card." Lucky for me the recent TG50 purchase was FREE after all the rebates and Sony points.

I would highly recommend this card for Clie enthusiasts as it does save money. It appears that this card is no longer offered at the present time however you can get notified of its release here.

If you are in Canada you are lucky as the card is presently offered.

I paid half, and had my brother cover the other half... he still thinks I'm going to pay him back...

Paid cash for my T615c, and loved it so much I bought my wife the SJ30. My 615 is recently deceased :-( My wife never did get into it, so I inherited her SJ30. I guess I might have to get her one with a camera to renew her interest ! ? !

Nope, you purchase your Sony products at any retailer at any price and then submit a form to Sony Mastercard to claim your points. Every Sony purchase gives you triple Sony points.
