Anyone using Epocrates 6.0 on an NR/X-70...

Does it turn the Virtual Graffiti area black and white when you run it?

Yeah, it doesn't look so good, but, a few years ago, I would have killed for that kind of great contrast on my Palm Pro through Palm Vx.

I noticed on a friends NR it did the same thing. One question for nr/nx users of Epocrates. Can you just type the name of a drug in then hit enter to see the details once the drug name is highlighted or do you still need stylus. How bout other apps like 5MCC, or anything similar? The reason I ask is because of the new T line that is coming out. If I was able to use the keyboard without having to use the stylus, it may be a possibility.

I have yet to figure out how to do that. It's one of the only real limitations to the keyboard so far...there's no "mouse" type button, so changing fields on the screen is impossible without the stylus, as is hitting "enter" like you are asking about. That's probably the main thing keeping me from using the keyboard more often.

I haven't used Epocrates recently, but I thought that when I did, I was able to use it with high res. I would try making sure that high res was turned on in the preferences just to be sure. Maybe I was wrong about using it in hi res mode?

I see no difference on my NR70V. The VG screen looks the same as it does with other non HiRes+ apps.
Haven't figured a way to eliminate the stylus. I'm using ePocratesPro 6.0

Maybe it's the free version of Epocrates...I never upgraded to Pro.

yes you can select whatever drug is highlighted in epocrates without ever using the stylus. as you type in the name of the drug using the keyboard, as soon as the drug you desire is highlighted simply press your jog dial button. that'll select and open the highlighted entry.
