Kinoma Producer problems

I have Kinoma Producer and when I try to convert an episode of The Simpsons it says "Video/Audio decoder not available ('MPG4')"

If anyone knows where to get this Video/Audio decoder then please put up a link.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Your files are probably DivX or XviD encoded. Kinoma can't encode from those formats. Quicktime6 is supposed to do MPEG4, but it still can't do DivX for some reason (different MPEG4 standards?).

You'll need to convert the videos to something Kinoma understands first. You could use TMPGENC to convert to MPEG1, or VirtualDUB and On2's VP31 codec to convert to VP31.
