I cannot get the PEGA-KB11 (fold out keyboard) to work with my new TG50-it worked with my NR70V. I tried to install a driver update but when syncing it says file already exists and won't install. I cannot delete the 'Keyboard' file either (says it is a read only file. According to the Sony compatability site it should be OK. Any ideas out there??

I'm not sure what's wrong with your setup, but my TG50 and keyboard work fine.
If you can delete the file then you should be able to install the new driver and get it to work.
How are you trying to delete the file? You may want to try 'CLIE Files'. If that doesn't work, just download FileZ or some other freeware file manager, those should allow you to delete the 'Keyboard' file.

I have been able to use my keyboard fine. I installed it from scratch direct from the installation CD.
How did you install the keyboard?

dibble,
I dont know if this info will help you but, I was reading some reviews left by other users on the TG and found one where a person had some problems with his keyboard.. Perhaps his remedy may help you.
Review can be found here:

And so your not searching each thing everyone said.. here is his review:
"no need for laptop now"
"...BUT if you've got some computer savvy and a lot of patience you can work things out. Don't waste the time I did trying to get the accessory keyboard to work with the supplied driver. You need to download the update, and install it over the top of the supplied driver, and then hard reset the device. All the instructions are there but appear during the process and are easy to miss. Now that it's working, I have a laptop that fits in a couple of jacket pockets. "

thanks got it sorted by removing the keyboard driver from the backup directory on the MS and then resetting the Clie and restoring all the programs (minus keyboard driver)from the MS. The driver update installation then went ahead smoothly. Thanks for the help everyone!! Great resource this
