How to disable autopoweroff in TG50?

I am a newbie to Clie forum and have got a TG 50 lately mostly for browsing ebooks. I use jog dial most of time when browsing but for every three minutes the machine will shut down. Is there a way to overwrite this 3 min limit? Thank you!

you can change the settings in general preferences, there's an auto shutoff function where you can adjust the mins. before the CLIE shuts off. :D

i.e. write shortcut [dot] [dot] (in order to get real dot) and number 3

Sorry, in the preference menu for autooff there are only four choices: 30s 1 min 2 min and 3mins. I would like autooff to start > 3mins. Is there a way to get around the problem. Pls advise again. Thx

The freeware program PowerNet 1.6 (http://www.palmgear.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=software.showsoftware&sid=0D3A58F6-F614-44D3-98E858D9A4282D73&prodID=44330) is what you need. It has a setting ''AutoOff time" which you can set to any value you wish.
