Internet connection via handphone

i've been using my clie nx and my nokia 6210 for internet via infrared couple of times before. but recently, i dont know why, it does not working anymore.

the problem is everytime the clie start to connect via infrared to the nokia, it dialled the number and then the nokia display 'check operator service' and make that funny sounds (like when it does not have a network operator). i've tried to soft and hard reset, reinstall the netfront, using the web pro v, use my friend's mobile, make a new connection and network, it still does not working.

is anyone ever have the same problem??
is anyone knows how to solve it??

I am not quite sure what your problem is, but did you try adding a pause in the dialed number? The number intially maybe outpulsed too quickly before the infrared is ready.

Are you able to access to WAP pages via GPRS on your phone? If no, probably the Access Point settings are out and you may have to consult your phone operator.

tubby, my phone does not have the GPRS, it does have the WAP though, and i never used it.
And, i dont know how to add the pause, it dialled from the clie, even without webpro v or netfront, just from connection in preferences it still didnt work. i think i will try the software first...

You may have a probelm with your mobile phone network. Sometimes when the network is busy, the prompt that you mentioned in your nokia phone, usually comes up. If your clie dials your mobile phone, then there is usually no problem with your pda or its program.
