Heyas all, im looking to create a small program, a modified calculator basically for some games I play, and I was looking around the web for some affordable (free) development software.
The only thing i found that was even remotely in my range was pdatoolbox (amazing but $25.00).

Does anyone know of a VB like developers kit that is free out there? Im not looking to make a HUGE program, just a calculator with two displays, and modified buttons.

any help will be appreciated.

SuperWaba, SuperWaba, and then again SuperWaba. It's Java, so it's very RAD. It's GPL'ed, so it's free. Also, in the many GPL'ed apps released to show the capabilities of the library, there's a calculator (so that you only have to change a couple of things since 99% of the work is already done...)

Give it a try! G.
